Wild Leek River

Friday, June 12th @ Mace Chasm Farm Barn

Doors at 7 / $20 Ticket (kids join free)

Wild Leek River is a 5-piece country band from Northern Vermont. Their style and performances trace roots from the honky tonks of days gone by, with rowdy shows across Vermont and throughout the Northeast. Good music, buttery vocals - this is a perfect Friday night to work on a two-step with your buddy, or put the dogs up on a hay bale and catch up with a neighbor. Rain or shine, baby! Come out!

The Deslondes

Monday, July 12th @ Mace Chasm Farm Barn

Doors at 7 / $20 Ticket (kids join free)

It’s hard to even choose a song or two to link here - there’s so damn many and they’re all good. Every one of the band members writes and sings songs in this epic collaboration, and all that variation makes their show good to watch. And all their skill makes the album good all the way through. And such a good band will make you dance while you watch em! This is a show to be at - we’re very glad to host them here in the barn. Maybe Monday evening is actually the perfect time to be at show! A little good old fashioned fun starts the week off right - and this will be one to remember!

"The Deslondes feel just as much like a musical institution as they do a 'band.' Along with 15 years of history and four albums from the New Orleans-based outfit, they have been chief collaborators both separately and together in some of the best roots music over that period." - Saving Country Music

Chris Acker & The Growing Boys

With Creekbed Carter! And Jonny Fritz!

Saturday, July 19th @ Mace Chasm Farm Barn

Doors at 6 / Show at 7 / $20 Ticket (kids join free)

“In the tradition of Guthrie and Prine, Chris lends a quavering voice to the half-rotten romance of the unremarkable and unrefined. Regardless if you’re sitting by a backyard fire on a muggy Louisiana night or standing stage-side in some far flung town, when you hear Chris Acker playing, you’re hearing the end result of countless hours of observing the masters of the craft…and the end result of repeating their mistakes.”

Geez, it’s kind of messed up to have so many of the best in the barn in one dang week in July, but so it goes! Chris is a wicked songwriter, and his band is a wicked band, so do be at this show if you possibly can, because it’s just gonna be fun! You can brag about having been there one day, ya know? And - again - did you see who’s opening?! SO FUN!

Sabine McCalla and Anna Moss

Sunday, August 16th @ Mace Chasm Farm Barn

Doors at 6 / Show at 7 / $20 Ticket (kids join free)

“Amid the paradisiac instrumentation surrounding her soothing voice, McCalla and her producers, Sam Doores (of The Deslondes) and Ajaï Combelic, collaborate with a cast of more than a dozen musicians from her musical community in New Orleans. Together, they blend rhythm & blues, country, folk, jazz, Tropicália, quiet storm soul, and doo-wop into hypnotic roots music.”

It’s true what they say about Sabine bringing a hypnotic, heart-melting, body rockin’ show to whatever stage she graces. She has big skills and impeccable style and singular sound. Looking forward to seeing this Sabine and Anna duo with a band. Show up and give it up for some femme fronts in the lineup at last! We love them all - every last one - but this will be a cool drink of water on a Sunday in August, and we sure hope you’ll make it out!
